SUU (Simple Unarchiving Utility) V1.00
======================================
October 2, 1992.
What is SUU?
============
SUU in its simplest form is a general use utility which
allows you to unarchive files of the Arj, Zip, Lzh, Arc,
Zoo, and Pak formats without the need to call individual
unarchiving programs.

Now that this is done with, let's go on to the good stuff!
USAGE:
=====
SUU [Path]Archive [Destination Path] [Files...] [Switches]
SUU requires at least a partial Archive name when run. The
Archive name doesn't need to be fully typed. Partial
archive names are acceptable. The other options are
optional.
[Path] - A directory in which the archive(s) reside.
[Destination Path] - defines where you want the extracted
files to go.
[Files...] - defines individual files which you wish to
unarchive.
[Switches] - There are several, and they are listed below...
/D - Delete archive after extracting files from it.
/F - Used with Echomail. This will make SUU search for
echomail packets in the [Path] or current directory.
Once the packet has been unarchived, it will be
deleted.
/M - This option allows you to edit the list of unarchivers
used by SUU.
/S[Search Path]
- This is a unique feature in SUU. This switch will
search the [Search Path] for any matching archive files
that you have specified. If the [Search Path] isn't
specified, SUU will default to the root of the default
drive.
EXAMPLES:
=========
SUU FNEWS
SUU in its simplest form. This command will find any file
in the current directory matching the FNEWS*.* criteria and
will unarchive that file to the current directory.
SUU C:\COMM\FD\FILES /F
This command will search C:\...\FILES for any Echomail
packets, unarchive them and delete them afterwards.
SUU FILES /S\FLS
This command will search for any files that would match the
FILES*.* criteria. The /S parameter tells SUU to search in
the FLS directory and any subdirectory below FLS on the
default drive.
SUU BETA.ARJ D:
This command will unarchive the file BETA.ARJ to drive D:.
Conclusion:
==========
Well, that's about it! If you have any questions
/suggestions/bugs/etc. Please send me a message via netmail
or call either BBS's mentioned above. One way or another,
it will get to me. Special Thanks goes out to the following
People...
Andrew Kerr - For his wonderful suggestions and testing.
Tim Lajoie - For his testing and keeping me on track with
the development of this program.
That's that, Enjoy!
